K-3 Curriculum
Recognition of name, sounds, pictures of vowels and consonants, formation of vowels and consonants in upper and lower case, language development and listening skills that include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners, science, pledges to American Flag, Christian Flag, Bible, sharing and being independent.
Bible Lessons such as Creation, Noah, The boyhood of Jesus, Bible verses every week
K-4 Curriculum
Bible: The boyhood of Jesus, The Good Samaritan, Creation, memory verses and hymns
Language Arts: Phonics and Reading, Writing, Language, Poems, cutting out their own Art Projects, Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Seasons, All Senses, Letter recognition, basic phonetic sounds, blends and one vowel rule words including reading, pledges to American Flag, Christian Flag, Bible and Community Helpers.
Numbers: 1-20 and 1-100 number recognition, writing numbers 1 – 20, clocks (manual & digital)
K-5 Curriculum
Bible: Life of Christ, memory verses and hymns
Language Arts: Phonics and Reading, Cursive Writing, Language, Poems, pledges to American Flag, Christian Flag, Bible
Science: God's World, Our 5 Senses (sight, sound, smell, taste & touch)
Social Studies: Our Great Country, Our Community, Community Helpers, the Community where we live.
Arithmetic: Counting, writing 1-100, greatest and least, story problems, telling time, number recognition, combinations (adding & subtracting), money such as the value of a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar, coin sets, counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s, intro-level into measuring and dividing, clocks (manual and digital).
1st Grade Curriculum
Bible: Life of Christ, memory verses and hymns
Language Arts: Phonics and Reading, Cursive Writing, Spelling and Vocabulary, Punctuation, write short stories, most reading on 3rd & 4th grade level
History & Geography: America our Home, Our Flag, Patriotic Holidays, American Indians, pledges to American Flag, Christian Flag & Bible
Science: Plants, Animals, Energy
Health: Personal Hygiene, Physical fitness, Manners
Arithmetic: Counting, writing 1-100, greatest and least, story problems, multiplication, measuring, clocks, 3-digit adding/carrying, intro to fractions and Roman numerals.
2nd Grade Curriculum
Bible: Life of Moses, Tabernacle, Samuel, David, Elisha, Elijah, memory verses and hymns
Language Arts: Phonics and Reading, Cursive Writing, Spelling and Vocabulary, Punctuation, write essays and book reports, most students reading on 5th & 6th grade level
