Arbor of Hope Children’s Home sits on 10 acres of land with 200 fruit trees and a river across the back. We have a 2-story house for the children and adding to it constantly.

Arbor of Hope was legally brought to life in 2006. In reality, to bring it to this point, took many years, from 1998 – 2006. Why so long? We needed a lawyer that was working for us and had our burden and same vision. In the meantime, we were raising money and that took time. We had to purchase the land and the property. We Praise God for some great donations that afforded us to completely pay the mortgage off in three years. During this time, we had many campaigns and many souls were saved. We supplied the community with clothes and gathered food constantly. We were busy missionaries during this time. In this one year, we had over 500 souls saved.

In 2005, my sister and her husband, Nola & Frank Warren, and their lawyer, Alfonso, were real miracle workers. We received our legal permission to open the children’s home on March 26. 2006. What a day that was!!!

We have 14 children in the house that are supported from churches all over the United States. Each day is full of activity for the children. Education is public at this time. We hope to have a private Christian school as soon as possible. In addition to their public education, we have activities at night. Some of these are arts, crafts, bible and music. There is plenty of food, clothes, friends and challenges. We have sports and church services all during the week. But most of all there is love and help to recover from the neglect and abuse they suffered before they came to us. The children are:

Arely 7, Diego 8, Roy 10, Leo 13, Nyely 16, Kathy 15, Rebecca 10, and Geraldo 12.

We have a new temporary Mexican worker. Her name is Erika and she has two children. We have two Mexican supervisors, a husband and wife team, Luis and Lucy Vasquez.

We encourage anyone who has our vision to come and visit us at any time. You can also email us at lindaayersmexico@yahoo.com and make a donation through our website which will be deposited into our account in order to pay for food and clothing for the children. We mostly need your prayer that God continues to keep His hand on this mighty work He has allowed us to be a part of and to continue to guide us in the direction He would have us go.

Lord, help us take the Light of the World to the darkened world, where there is no hope. We want to give hope to the hopeless. Through a commitment to Jesus, their lives will be changed forever. Amen.
